In Vilnius, together with the interior designer Jekaterina Kazmazovskaja, we\u2019ve developed “Lunch Up” restaurant\u2019s project, which belongs to the “Amber Food” group, one of the largest players in the Lithuania\u2019s catering sector. The restaurant is in the impressive multifunctional business center U219, which is popularly called \u201cSeskine’s eye\u201d due to the building\u2019s accent on the facade \u2013 the horizontal oval.<\/p>\n\n
To create a minimalist, spacious yet cosy restaurant\u2019s interior we used typical palette of the building\u2019s interior materials, as well as extremely high-quality, practical materials, like black MDF panels, velour, compact HPL (with extremely popular terrazzo decor) panels, black metal, laminated chipboard (LMDP), concrete texture. Together with our long-term partners \u2013 \u201cRie\u0161\u0117s Baldai\u201d \u2013 we designed and manufactured non-standard furniture for the new restaurant. Individual design solutions were applied, corresponding to the efforts of the architects, the customer, and our company’s designers.<\/p>\n\n

The requirements for the project were high quality materials that were both practical and durable to handle heavy foot traffic. The challenge was to design the furniture to fit the specific purpose of the space. Materials used included black MDF, velor, tapestry, HPL (which was popular with the terrazzo decor trend), black metal, LMDP, and a concrete texture finish. An innovative solution was implemented by creating panels with pre-glued brussels, which made installation faster and more cost-effective.
